So I can finally share My Mum's Mother's Day Pressies...

So I have been holding off posting pictures of my makes for my Mum in case by some chance she happened to read my blog (if you are reading this 'Hi Mum!').

These are the first Roses I have made in this way using 50gsm paper coloured using Arteza acrylic paints breyered on my Gel Press, I coloured both sides of the paper and then cut out the petals. Each rose has around 40 petals in two different sizes. I am really pleased with the final product, they are flowers that even I could keep

For the card I have used some Crafter's Companion dies and flower forming foam. The 'Mum' I have used Hunkydory's screw hole punch. If you have never used one (I hadn't until very recently) you must give it a go, it is so therapeutic and hypnotic.

The puzzle is made using the Crafter's companion die, I thought I would make it a bit more challenging for my mum by not giving her a picture of what the puzzle will look like, apparently she still did it in 10 minutes, so the next one will need to be much harder!
