Happy Sunday everyone!
Today I wanted to share with you some projects I have made using the freebies in the latest issue of the Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine. This issue there were was no stamps or dies it was purely a paper based kit, but…… the papers are beautiful. They are good quality not thin and flimsy paper, there are also several sheets of die cut toppers. I lost hours creating with these. I love that the papers can speak for themselves. You don’t need to add lots to them, you can create some really simple effective designs by just using a piece of patterned paper and a sentiment.
My top tip for these is to add a black mat layer behind, adding a thin black border around really makes the colours on your card pop.
The gift bag is just a basic inexpensive white gift back, and then it has been upcycled by just layering up the papers on the front & back and adding one of the die cut toppers.
The box is created using the Hunkydory scoreboard, the slider card uses the Made to Surprise reveal card die set and all the others are created using a guillotine!
If you would like a more detailed step by step on any of these projects, drop me a line and I will put together a video for you to follow.
On top of all that you can download digital copies of all the papers and toppers following the link in the magazine, giving you an unlimited supply of the papers and toppers. It also means you can resize the papers and if your printer allows even print off in a3 giving you endless possibilities.
Happy crafting everyone. Here is to another crafty week!
