A double drape fold card… super easy to make…

Wow can you believe it’s nearly the longest day and the nights will soon be drawing in. Anyone else out there think that the time it takes to get from the longest to the shortest day seems much quicker than the time to get from the shortest to the longest!

Today I would like to share with you a double drape fold card I have made using one piece of double sided 8x8 paper, one piece of A4 white card, a small piece of gold mirri, a topper from the paper pad and a piece of ribbon.

It is super easy to make and you could even make it with just a ruler and a pair of scissors if you are just starting out on your crafty journey. I have used Christmas papers, but you can use any double sided papers.

I have used this beautiful Christmas paper pad from first edition. If you haven’t had a first edition paper pad before they are beautiful top quality paper pads, containing a mixture of textured, foiled and double sided papers (although they are 200gsm so they are super thick high quality luxury papers)

To see how to make this card check out the step by step video here.
